The casual and cozy ambience allows for a relaxed dining experience. Many appreciate the generous portion sizes, making it a great value for the price. The service is often highlighted as friendly and attentive. The unique feature of using a small cube to call for service and process payments adds a modern touch that guests enjoy. Additionally, the extensive beer selection complements the Thai dishes perfectly, creating a well-rounded dining experience.
Some guests have noted that prices can feel a tad high for a pub environment, particularly with added service charges for larger parties. This has caused a few to question the value proposition. Occasionally, the service can be slower during peak hours, especially on busy evenings. Others suggest that the kitchen's limits on flexible dining hours may be inconvenient for late-night diners. Lastly, while many dishes shine, a few patrons felt that certain items could use a touch more spice to elevate the flavor profile, particularly for seasoned Thai food enthusiasts.
The overall ambience was excellent, and the food was genuinely delicious. Prices felt slightly on the higher side, but the experience was enjoyable. A standout feature was the small cube on the table used to call for service and make payments—simple, smart, and incredibly convenient.
Stopped at the B&B Hotel opposite. And this excellent pub/restaurant serves great food and drinks. Staff very welcoming and pleasant, even let me leave my van on their car park so I didn't have to pay at the hotel. Would recommend this place if anyone is round this area. I had the drunken noodles and my wife had special fried. The only problem is they stick on a £4.95 service charge it's only a pub that serves food.
The food here was really good. The flavours were amazing. The seafood was tasty. Service was okay for a pub style. Ambience was really nice. Pad thai was good, thai curry had a mild flavour and all the items we ordered were tasty.
Excellent Thai food…first time visiting and the dishes we ordered were really fresh and tasty. Great hospitality and the pub itself had real character. Definitely worth a visit! 👌🏻
Exellent cuisine, food was amazing. The staffs were friendly and quick. I would go back and have it 3x a day. Must visit when you're london!!
It was a debate between eating at the airport or restaurant nearby and it was certainly the best choice we made to visit Bong Thai. Location was absolute ideal, literally minutes drive away from Heathrow Terminal 5, also other terminals not far off. Plenty of parking, comfort seating and the best of the lot fantastic food. This has become our go to restaurant every time we travel from Heathrow.
Bong Thai: A Delightful Blend of Pub and Thai Cuisine I recently visited Bong Thai, and it was such a pleasant experience! The combination of a pub and Thai restaurant creates a unique and inviting atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and always ensuring we were well taken care of. Their professionalism and warmth truly enhanced our visit. As for the food, it was delightful. Each dish was packed with flavor, and the balance of spices and freshness was spot on. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation. The atmosphere was equally lovely, with a cozy yet vibrant vibe that made us feel right at home. Both my friend and I had an amazing time, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
